Tom always makes a difference

"When Tom and his wife Kathy moved to North Hudson, it did not take them long to become integrated into the community."

This post is for all who either live in the Hudson area of Wisconsin, or know of someone who does. Our good friend Tom Coulter (who many of you know) is running for St.Croix County Supervisor (D4). As we know, all politics is local. Tom has only been a resident of Wisconsin a short time, and has seen a need for some change in his local community. The kind of change that matches Tom's skillset.

A bit of disclosure. Tom and I have known each other for about 50 years or so. He is the same person now as he was in high school (only a touch older). We reconnected a few years ago, and have become very close friends once again. When Tom and his wife Kathy moved to North Hudson, it did not take them long to become integrated into the community. Even though they still have family and friends who live in Minnesota, the Coulters have become true "Sconies".

Tom is not running for this job because he is bored. Or because he needs extra money. Tom and Kathy are both retired from good careers and are enjoying life in a much lower taxed state. However, as good as Wisconsin is in many areas, Tom saw that this particular position in his local community could use some help. And the kind of help Tom Coulter can offer comes from years of experience working in grassroots politics.

I can't vote for Tom as I don't live in the part of St. Croix County that this position serves. If I did live there, I would not only vote for Tom, but also actively campaign for him. Tom is a man of his word. And he is a hard worker. If he did not think he could make a difference, he would have never filed for this job. But he can and he will.

So if you live in the Hudson area of Wisconsin, or know of someone who does, tell them to vote for Tom. If you want someone in local government who can and will have an impact, who can make a difference, then vote for Tom Coulter.
