Aftermath

"Donald Trump is going to be a game changing President. He hears things others cannot. He will take in what he has heard from the people and incorporate it into his Administration."

I think I am about to throw up in my mouth. I can't take it anymore. I really can't. The "Love trumps Hate" crowd is showing all of us what hypocrisy really is. And the pain! The tears! The despair! How could so many in this country be so misguided? Just because Hillary is a (possibly) un-indicted felon, was no reason not to vote for her! And now we have his Trump guy! What in the world is our future going to be?

Here is my take on what "Trump's America" could look like:

Economy - If President Trump does nothing else, fixing the tax code would be HUGE! I think he has the backing in both the House and Senate to do it. The tax code has become to unwieldy, that few understand it. The IRS itself has become weaponized to those who disagree with the Administration. A MASSIVE overhaul with our tax code, reducing the number of rates, lowering both the personal and business rates, would be a huge jump start to a sagging economy.

Foreign Affairs - No offense to the current Administration, but they just did not "get it". Yes, I am talking about Obama, Clinton and Kerry. The "Russian Reset" was a joke, we hung Israel out to dry, and helped set the Middle East on fire. President Trump on the other hand, knows the art of the deal. He will be able to craft "win-win" agreements with Russia as well as other countries. Rather than threats, Trump will use leverage. Israel will once again have us back, watching their back. Iran will be held accountable. Europe (NATO) will start to pull their own weight. 

Military - President Trump will resurrect the Reagan "Peace through Strength" doctrine. Some of our military is in a "non-ready" condition. Stuff we don't need will not be procured. Stuff we do need will be. Pay will go up for all who serve. The VA will be fixed so it will run like never before. All that will be fixed. China will be checked in its adventures in the South Pacific theater. North Korea will be backed down. We will restore world order without firing a shot. Reagan did it, and so can Trump.

Law and Order - President Trump will have an Attorney General who believes in the rule of law. It will be as simple as that. This will include immigration. If you came here legally, welcome. Many of our ancestors did also. If you came here illegally, you will be gone. You are welcome to come back here legally, employing our immigration laws. If you riot in the streets, you will be arrested. If you kill a cop, you will be toast. "Broken window" policing will be the norm once again. 

There will be more, many more changes. However, for the sake of brevity, I will stop here. Donald Trump is going to be a game changing President. He hears things others cannot. He will take in what he has heard from the people and incorporate it into his Administration. He has the chance to be the most transformational President since Reagan. And he has the chance to be the worst since Hoover.

One final word. After being gone since the election, I caught up on reading a few days worth of newspapers this morning. To the MSM I will say this - either call a wambulance or grow a pair. Good flipping grief - your girl did not win - get over it!
