End of an era...

"Anyone who thought it would never come to this is only fooling themselves. It had to. They got to him."

Yesterday afternoon, I felt like I had been mugged. Not to bring sports into the picture, but the family was watching the Vikings/Lions game on TV. The plan was to watch the game, and once it was over, drive up to the lot to see how my oldest daughter's house was coming. As anyone knows who watched the game, the Vikings once again stole defeat from the jaws of victory. Grumbling as I got into the car to leave, breaking news came across the radio dial. The FBI caved in to the Clinton machine - once again.

Anyone who thought it would never come to this is only fooling themselves. It had to. They got to him. His organization has just found 650,000 emails to go through from Wiener's computer. It was originally thought this computer contained many original (not duplicate) emails. Now the FBI found out in just a few days there was "nothing new under the sun." We had been told it might take months to come up with a final determination. I guess that changed in a hurry.

Plus this weekend, we found out a maid (who is a foreign national) who worked for Hillary Clinton, was allowed to view, reproduce, fax or whatever - classified information. And she did not even have the most basic of security clearances. Again, if I had done that one time when I served (and had a high level clearance), it would have been taps for me.

This is the end of an era of the FBI. It follows the end of an era of the IRS. And the NSA. These once solid organization have become for sale. They have become politicized. In the case of the IRS, weaponized. What about Justice? We have found out time after time that the Justice Department often times puts its mighty thump on the scale of justice. What do all these organizations have in common? They are all located in the swamp of Washington.

Today, I have an empty feeling. Lost. I fear the one person who could make the changes we really need, might lose this election. And if we get Hillary Clinton, rather than having someone who can really start to fix this corruption, we will end up with the one person who will make it so much worse. And what about the citizens? With President Clinton, we will be like passengers on an airliner with a pilot who does know how to fly. In other words, many of the citizens have a feeling of impending doom.

All we can do is hope and pray a miracle happens tomorrow. That we can bring our country back off of the cliff. We not only need to take the White House, but also hold on to the Senate. Most pundits have conceded the Republicans will retain the House. But if we have a President Clinton, and a Senate Leader Schumer, it will be "Katy bar the door". We can kiss the Supreme Court good-bye as it will be lost for a generation or two.

And if that happens, we will truly morph into the Socialized States of Amerika. The fundamental transformation of America that Obama started in 2008 will be complete.
