Never Hillary?

"MEANWHILE - back at the ranch - where in the Sam Hill is the outrage by Democrats over Hillary? In other words, will Bernie supporters start a 'Never Hillary' movement?"

I know. I know. We are the party of principle and they are not. What am I talking about? The NEVER TRUMP movement. And the spillover of that movement is now starting to affect the numbers of the Libertarian Candidate. In fact, the Libertarian Candidate just about has enough support to qualify for the debates.

I have some conservative friends (and some even not so conservative) that think voting for Donald Trump is like voting for the Lord of Darkness. In other words, they ain't going to do it. So they either are going to stay home, write in Ted Cruz, or vote for the Libertarian. MEANWHILE - back at the ranch - where in the Sam Hill is the outrage by Democrats over Hillary? This not yet indicted felon? This Wall Street puppet? This betrayer of the brave souls in Benghazi? In other words, will Bernie supporters start a "Never Hillary" movement?

I have such vivid memories of the election of 1992. This was the year George Bush (41) was running for re-election. All his high ratings coming from the stunning victory in the Gulf War were eviscerated by his retreat on the "no new taxes" pledge. In fact, that quote of his during the first campaign ("Read my lips - no new taxes") were played over and over again by the media. Long story short - Ross Perot came in as a third party guy and sunk the second term of Bush (41). And that ushered in the Clinton era, warts and all.

I can see the same thing happening in 2016. It will be deja vu all over again. There could be enough of our people who really eschew Donald Trump, Hillary will take the election. For example, if enough Democrats were truly principled, and started a "Never Hillary" movement, the outcome might be different. But they won't. That is not how they roll. They will back her, as they have every other flawed candidate they have endorsed.

I know many hate this when I bring this up. Love him or not, Chris Christie said something very profound about elections. "You can't govern if you don't win." I strongly dislike saying this, but it needs to be said - if we have a third party option and the Democrats don't, Hillary will be our next President. Enough said.
