The punching bag

I don't know which is the better punching bag for the Loony Left (and that includes BHO), our Second Amendment, or the NRA who so vigorously protects it. In any event, it seems after yesterday's tragedy in Orlando, both are in the cross hairs (once again) of the gun grabbers. I have a better idea - let's look at the what the real problem is. What the real catalyst was for the mass murders down in Florida.

The Muslim who did the shooting yesterday was a prototype of the terrorist we will be facing in the years to come. He was born in America to Afghan parents. He had a fairly clean record. He had worked as a security guard. For him to pass the background check to go buy (legally) a gun, was no problem.

But something in him snapped. He decided it was better to die an Islamic Terrorist, than live as a free American. And as an Islamic Terrorist, he had no time - none, for the homosexual life style. Keep in mind in the Middle East, many times outwardly gay people are thrown off of buildings. When this terrorist saw two men kissing on the street, that was it in his book. It was time to act.

Terrorists don't care what the instrument of death will be. It could be a gun. It could be a knife. A pipe bomb. A bomb made out of a crock pot or pressure cooker. It could even be a Ford 150. And as we saw on 9/11, it could even be a passenger jet. For the Loony Left to blame our Second Amendment or the NRA is way beyond insipid or inane - it is world class stupidity.

Former CIA Director James Woolsey was a pundit on a news show yesterday. He was asked if guns were the problem with terrorists. His response - "Obama could wave a magic wand and confiscate every legal gun in America. The terrorists would still be able to get guns. Bad guys always do. And if they can't get a gun, they have been told to kill with a F-150 (Ford truck)."

So keep it up gun grabbers. I know this is so trite, but I must say it again for the slow learners. Once you outlaw guns, only the outlaws (or terrorists) will have guns. DUH! One armed and trained patron could have changed the entire outcome of yesterday's event. And that - is a fact.
